Previous generation of Samsung Galaxy Tab (GT-P1000), which measures 7 inches had skyrocketed, and also became a topic of controversy when Steve Jobs said that the 7-inch tablet-sized is too small for most users. But because it uses the new Android operating system designed for larger-sized tablet, which is Honeycomb, Samsung has no choice but to change the form factor of Galaxy Tab to 10.1-inch, therefore, this second generation Galaxy tablet is called Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.With a wider screen, the specifications were jacked into a dual-core processor. Galaxy Tab that was using a single-core 1GHz Hummingbird, now is using the Tegra 2 chipset 1GHz dual-core processors from Nvidia. Its memory improved from 512MB to 1GB, and the graphics chip is also increased from the previous PowerVR SGX540 (as used in iPhone4/iPad) to GPU ULP GeForce. This specification is similar to Apple’s iPad 2, which uses dual-core processor 1GHz Apple A5 and chipset 543MP2 PowerVR SGX. What about its ability? If we look at in terms of OS, is clearly different. Thus let’s see from the specifications of the hardware first.
